In December I finally upgraded from my sweet 99 Regular Cab Tacoma to a more spacious 2020 Tacoma Access Cab to better accommodate the wife and large dog. I put a Leer canopy on it and only now have come to realize that I can't put a decent lumber rack on it that works with or without the canopy! I had a nice Kargomaster rack on my 99 Tacoma for lumber and kayaks, but the composite bed won't allow for a lumber rack that does this. I could put cross bars on the canopy, but that doesn't help me if I take the canopy off. I actually dented the top of my new truck cab (even though it was well-padded) hauling lumber - fortunately my insurance is covering most of it. I feel kind of dumb not having researched this better. Any ideas? I'm starting to look at used Tundras!
