Not an inexpensive option....but I absolutely love my Icon Stage 7 suspension system with my All Pro Expedition spring pack. The ride in all terrain and road conditions is fantastic. Much like a full size Chevrolet LTZ on flat asphalt.

Headstrong Off Road, is exceptional and wildly competent too, I’ve bought several items from them over the years. Marie I think? I bought my Icon system from TRD Dallas I think? Maybe from Icon directly. I’ve had-0- trouble over 52K miles. About a 2.85” lift up front and a solid 3.5 in the rear.

It's all subjective to what the application you desire. Because I don't off road except in sand and mostly as a DD, it's as close to a stock ride that I was looking for on a TRD 4x4 OR DCSB. To me the ride is exceptionable and price point on the mark. In some cases those who have installed the Boss 2.0 adjust the coil higher than 2 inches makin the ride not as good IMO but at 2 inches out of the box it's great. Use the extra money you'll be saving and spend it on something else. $.02 Good luck

I was interested in great performance both on street and off. Clearly you need to make trade offs. Thus I decided the following order of importance: yawl correction then cornering then bumps then whoops. This made my tech choice of a digressive shock a must. From there I looked at coil and spring features such as adjustability, preload and camber path. Finally I considered the pros/cons of some “packages” or mix and match. This left me with just a few options and I discussed them with guys like Bij at @Toytec Lifts to get their expertise and experience. (Frankly the place I should have started). Once I had the right choices in mind I saved up and bought them. I can now drive like a complete imbecile and can’t stand it when I have to drive in something that has stock suspension, or a mod that doesn’t work properly for the truck it is on. I’m not a “brand slave” nor do I presume my experience and goals are the same as others. For me the Icon8 was the right choice.

Green pieces of paper don’t mean anything.
They’ll never make you any happier.
    That being said,
Icon stage 8 is over 4,000.00 without install.

    :amen:
    Man, that’s really well put.

The logical process you describe is very similar to what I went through. For me is was stopping without the “dive”....similar to yawl ...and then cornering, bumps, contact patch, tire wear/adjustment, and load management.

Also went with Icon but you nailed it, NOT about brand but interplay and integration of parts to achieve the whole goal. I found the system of Icon Stage 7 to deliver exactly what I was looking for. And it has been better than expected in all ways. Not cheap but worth every penny.

Hey OP, the reality somewhere in the middle of the low end and the high end will likely leave you feeling satisfied with your purchase! 4k on suspension is a lot! Anybody have the actual spec of the mid travel ICON coil overs? how long are they full extended?

Out of curiosity, did Headstrong recommend you add the 1/4" spacers, or was your 2.5 good enough for ya??

Whole bunch of stuff in my garage
I've got Icon Stage 6. 2.5" shock bodies all around. Much stronger than 2.0 bodies. But, like mentioned earlier, not cheap. I'm only going to buy my suspension once and I'd rather buy high quality components than cheap out on something that's sub-optimal.

Truck looks great. Being looking for pictures on this setup (since I ordered the same setup). And as a bonus we have the same color truck. What were the settings on the 6112?
