I have a 2009 Tacoma Double Cab with the sport and leather package so it has every factory option available but I want a more capable off-road truck. I am trying to decide between the Toytec 3” kit and the Procomp 6” kit, or buying individual parts and having them put on the truck. I do have some concerns about the idea of a lift:
    1) CV joint and boot wear?
    2) Ride and Articulation?
    3) Reliability and Durability?
I am also deciding as to if I want to put on aftermarket bumpers and if I will have problems with the stock skid plate, my aftermarket lower grill, my stock hitch and towing?

Any help would be much appreciated, and if anyone needs more calcification I will do my best. I have new pictures that I will post later tomorrow.

thanks for those links, had a look at both. I am leaning toward a 6" lift but not sure of the exact kit yet, going to see a few shops this week and see what they say. I am thinking of a 6" lift with 33" tires and allpro front / rear bumpers and there skid plate line up. what about a front skid plate though or keep the stock toyota one?

    thanks again

For a front and rear bumper to go with the lift which is a better option:
    Allpro
    Road Armour
    Other
