Ill also point out the obvious, Why would the 06 be certified and the 07 with less miles not be certified??? Keep on looking until you find exactly what your want! I am sure there is more than 2 tacomas for sale in your area.

I need the DC about once a year, and find the AC to be both better looking and quite functional for me. (one wife, one son, two smallish dogs). I have an Acura for those times where I need to drive people around. I find when I have more space I just fill it with more crap.

For me the bed in the DC is useless.

I throw whitewater kayaks in my AC all the time. Don't think they'd fit well in the DC. I also like to camp in the back of my truck (I have a shell). No way would I try to sleep in the DC. The 6' bed in the AC is barely big enough.

The back seat of a 4 runner folded down is a bigger space than the bed of the DC. I don't see the point.

If you go DC, find a long bed.

FWIW i own a DCSB and i love it. im 16 and use the back all the time *cough* *cough*. also, the "inky's" the dealer was referring to, are most likely 20" Enkei rims, these rims are most often associated with the X-SP package (pretty rare) and usually if ur truck has those rims its got that package, the package includes all cosmetic junk. sometimes tacomas will come with those rims, but not be X-SP, they will just have those X-SP rims <-- like mine.

I went with the access cab because of the bed space. I Like the dcsb but dclb is just too long for me. A 5ft bed is useless.

I went with Double cab. I think If i did it again though, I might go Access cab. Reason number being the size of the bed. 5 foot bed is pretty small. I also hardly ever have people in my back seat.

I am of course talking about TRD Off-roads. Only TRD SPorts come in DC Long bed.

I drove three hours away to find mine. I made sure I bought the EXACT one I wanted. Red, Double Cab, TRD Off road, 6 speed manual.

I went access cab. I love it. You have the seats when they are needed, but don't end up being the guy who drives everyone around. You get a full size bed. They look better!

I went with the AC...in the end I didn't think I'd need the extra cab space and didn't want to pay for it. I love the AC. it's exactly what I wanted in a truck and, call me selfish, but I like both doors opening towards me. Thanks all for the advice!!

I vote DC. You can't ever have too much room.

I'm on my 3rd Tacoma DC. Great having the 4 doors when needed.
