    Stock. Purchased 2/17/19. Cement!
It looks nice. I actually saw one recently parked at a Ford tent at an air show. It was really nice. For some reason though I thought you were purchasing a Hybrid? Almost $30K and no hybrid? Hmmm. Well, it is a sharp looking car. For those of us interested on how Ford products are coming along, you should keep us updated. Cost of repairs (if any), maintenance, etc.
Good luck on that car and happy traveling. :D

It is pretty nice if I do say so myself. :p But yea it was pretty expensive, definitely agree on that one lol
Me? A Hybrid?!? No way in hell haha the car is like 3,600 pounds or so and 191HP wouldn't move it too fast...then again I haven't actually driven a Hybrid version just yet so I can't say for sure.
I'll definitely keep you guys updated! So far, it had to be cleaned...and..uuuuhhhh...nothing else yet. It had this aftermarket alarm installed and the brain was put like in the dead center inside the dash and I'm 99% positive that's what the root of my dash rattle is cause when I press on or hit anything up there it doesn't do much. Then the rear shelf has a tape sticking type noise to it only when the bass hits so it's not much of any worry to me and you can't hear it at all from the front.
Oh yea, it's the V6, 263HP (or 265, Ford can't get it right) and 249TQ is really nice...the thing FLIES! Only downside is that it's FWD but it's got pretty damn good grip with that much power running through there.
I think it pulls 0-60 around the late 6 or early 7 seconds. It's up in the 100's in like 15 seconds or something like that* but I've only hit around 95 without trying...so far ;) but I'm having a lot of fun with it, it's pretty hard to not come down on the throttle to hear it roar on up.

    *probably not actual numbers

They're cool and all but I wish they had the option for the Hybrid gauge in the regular ones...that would be so cool!
WTF? Taurus? This is a Fusion...the Taurus is bigger man, get it straight. Ford doesn't even use the platform from the old Taurus...errr...Five Hundred anymore. Fusions are pretty good on resale also but no, it actually wasn't part of my decision. My decision was a car that drove great, looked damn good, had some big 'ol hairy balls under the hood, and that I actually wanted. You may not like Fords and that may never change but you gotta get with the picture and realize that imports aren't everything and there's still one American company that makes very nice cars.
Like their ad says, drive one.
    The Sport model?
My sister has an 06 SEL and I always didn't like anything about that car although her's looks much better than the rest of them I see, I still didn't like the 1st gen. I really didn't like the 2nd gen when it came out either but the design grew on me and I saw the Sport model and, well, one thing led to another...hahaha! :)

Actually my mom and my sister are both looking at them. I guess they're appealing to women drivers.

Congrats on your purchase...I just think its funny that you have over 4,400 post since Jan 09 but you decide to go with something else....

I should do a google search on camryholic, accordholic, tundraholic, raptorholic and now fusionholic...with all the different forums your likely posting on, I could probably find profiles with over 900,000 post combined in the last nine months...:D

That they are! We're trying to convince my father to get a 2010 Taurus SHO that my local Ford dealer has. White with the black/umber interior. Still haven't driven it and really wan tot since my sport has the 3.5 V6 that the EcoBoost is based off of so I'm REALLY interested in seeing how much grunt my engine has with two turbos on it...might make a one off SVT Fusion Sport! :p
    Thank you!
This is what happened: Other people got the things that were poking at the back of my mind to come out front. I love the Taco but there was something I couldn't live with as a DD. If I had my Sport and then Bought a Taco then that would work! But as a DD, for me, the sport was a better choice in a few ways.
Hahahaha! This is actually the only forum I belong to. There was mazdas247 but the people there are shits and I sold that car so I got banned from there and I'm just here now...:woot:
Thanks! I am, it's a really fun car. I took a second to..."test"...the handling the other day and I was going about 30, dumped it into 2nd, and pulled out of the turn with about half throttle at the apex and the left tires were squealing on the pavement and the front right was spinning under power and it's just fun to do and hear.
Then again, we can't forget socolax and his little left turn drift hahaha :D

Is that 6.2 mpg on the dash? If so, you're breaking it in right. :D

I also wanted to point out that my new (to me) 06 DC has 13 cup holders and I think that in that department, your Fusion comes up short. :boink:

But I am envious of an instrument cluster that includes MPG. Had that on our '99 GTI and I'm a bit disappointed we do not have it on our '06 Taco.

And no one has flamed you yet? Well... Jane you ignorant slut - what were you thinking? What are you gonna do the first time you need to haul a load of manure?

Enjoy your new ride. That's always fun!

Sadly it was16.2 but I was breaking it in right! I'm at about 16.9 on the second tank and it should go up a little more if I'm lucky.

I have like...uuuuhhh...8 cupholders I think lol, 2 in the console, 2 in the back armrest, 4 "bottle" holders on the doors. Still a bit short though haha

There's average MPG, instant like how green you're driving, a timer, miles to E, 2 trips, and off I think.

lol I'll just use the Expedition :p

Thanks! I'm definitely doing that part easily enough!
