Decisions decisions

I have been looking at a safari bar and nerf bars for my 01 Tacoma. I am just having a hard time making a decison of black or stainless. I really like the price of the black stuff which is about half of stainless, but I also like the polished stainless. I have chrome bumpers and worry about to much chrome. The truck color is impulse red.

 

Personally - I wouldn't trust anything that's polished stainless. That stuff will pit & corrode over time.

Surely.....black will also pit, corrode, and rust over time... but at least you can repaint it in a few years and it'll be good as new.

I have a push bar that's about 4 years old and I'm about ready to take it off and repaint it.

 

^^I agree.....black is easier to maintain over time.
