    Do your research, Subaru WRX motors are prone to failure. You would be going from the best selling most reliabe truck to platform not known for longevity.

    IMHO. I always like to have a truck in the family.if either my son or wife drove a truck I would trade otherwise no.

    The EJ's were. The new FA's are much better. FA20 was solid, many people putting hundreds of thousands of miles with no issues.

    I heard the FA24 on the 86 platform had some manufacturing issues last year, not sure if it's been corrected yet. In the year the wrx has been on sale, I haven't heard anything that is worth worrying about.

    The 2.0 wrx is pretty reliable. My brother inlaw have a 2016 wrx with 120k miles only recently got clutch done. Other than that is runs good. Just make sure you do oil change and diff oil changes
