I have done the deck plate mod on my 98 2.7L and I went with a 3.5 inch deck plate. Worked great by the way.
I just got an 02 3.4L and am wondering what size you guys went with. I am thinkin 4 inch is the biggest I can go. Anyone go 4.5 or even 5 inch?

majority do a 4" deckplate but you can go up to 5" iirc.

probably not. It gets enough air flow with even a 3" I would imagine.
