Hello everyone. I am wanting to do the deck plate mod and i was wanting to know a few things. Where is the best place to purchase the deck plate? What is the best way to cut the hole in the air box? What kind of sealer should be used? Any information on the mod would be nice! and pics also!

draw it out the go about it with a dremmel or similar small cutting tool, or drill holes around perimiter then pop it out by cutting between holes

Looks good. Slowly getting the material to do mine. How did you attach the screen?

At Home Depot I just purchased a roll of screen like you would use for either a screen door or window. Cut it into about a 5x5 square then after cutting out the hole in the air box place the screen over the hole. Then insert the deck plate, and while keeping pressure on the plate screw in the screws. This will tighten the screen as you screw it on. Then get a razor knife after its screwed on and trim of the excess screen. Done!
