deck plate problems....

    hey guys so i picked up my deck plate today and installed it today... problem is now the check engine light is on, if i get it reset will it come back on? is it a perm thing? also im getting exhaust, powder coating my wheels and tinting my windows this next weekend so i will post pics when its all finished. thanks for any help.

    I've heard of guys that have not used the sensor safe silicone and they end up screwing with their MAF. So thats probably what happened. Im sure it could happen even with sensor safe stuff if it hasnt cured all the way. They say to be safe and let it dry over night. DID you do that?

    Just let it sit over night tonight, and in the morning reset the code by disconnecting the battery for a minute. You should be good from there.

    i removed the efi clip when i took it out soon finding out that it wasnt needed. but i drove to a buddies house today once i woke up and the engine light shut off, i have been driving all day and it hasent come back on.
