Jvc 840 kw-vx say select speaker type.

Select the size of the connected speaker.

Standard/Narrow/Middle/Wide


W huh at I set it at?

Aftermarket speaker connected to a amp and sub too to a amp?

Sorry I have no clues as to what you are asking.
Seems like others do not as well!

Think of the sound wave.... standard = normal
Narrow = narrow beam. Travels further
Wide = wide beam. Travels shorter

Pick the one YOU like --after all, Who will be listening to "it"? --My guess-- it will be you and your passengers --most likely no one from this forum!

I think I'd do the same. Pick whatever sounds best. That's a really bizarre set of choices & the manual doesn't even bother to explain them.
