I am sure there is another post about this, but I can’t find it on mobile using the search, so my apologies.

I have the opportunity to acquire a @decked system out of a ‘19 ranger 6ft bed for next to nothing. I have a 17 long bed. I’m looking at modifying it and removing the skinny drawer as I have a GFC camper and want a spot to stand. Has anyone out there done either/both of these modifications, will it work in the 6ft Tacoma, or most importantly is worth the hassle to make it fit. I’ve seen several on Instagram that pulled the skinny drawer and that looked pretty easy to do. I’m more concerned about the overall fit between the two vehicles.
    Thanks in advance!

I think read where the Decked folks replied to this question and the answer was "no, the middle portion is also part of the structure"
    I could be wrong though.

EDIT: I just found this, maybe in here

yeah that’s my motivation and example, I’m just curious how close the ranger version is to the Tacoma. If it wasn’t so cheap I’d just wait for a Tacoma long bed to pop up. He wants to get rid of it asap.

Hey! This is Grant. That tan Tacoma/video of the decked is my personal truck. In that video "My New GFC Camper" there are some clips in there specifically on the drawer system and how I did it. Skim through there to find it. It should actually be timestamped near the beginning. As far as Decked systems go, they're all built basically the same, with the same base components, but they are different based on the truck beds lengths and widths. I'm not sure how similar or different the fitment would be. You might be able to go to the Decked website and compare specs. Even if they're close enough, I'm not sure the mounting would be the same.
