I'm into the final ordering of parts for my adventure build and I'd VERY much like to add a decked system to it for the storage as well as making a much larger flat floor which, to me would be much more useful. Since I'm mounting a GoFastCamper to the bed I'm planning on adding bed stiffeners to keep everything square and solid on and off road.

Can anyone tell me if the Decked system for Tacoma's will for sure work with Bed Stiffeners in particular the Rago Fabrication ones I already purchased.

If not can someone give me the exact measurement of the drawer from the truck to the drawer (not sure if I'm explaining it right) but basically to make sure that the opening and closing of a drawer won't interfere with this stiffener and vise versa. Thank you TW.

Post #92 I provided an overhead pic of the area in question. Plenty of room and yes, I have TC bed stiffeners in place as well. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions!

Yes it will all work together. I just installed mine a few weeks ago (had stiffeners installed already). The decked system does not reach that far back.

Ok, so looking at those pics as best as i can on my iPhone screen it looks like no issues what so ever with a decked system as far as the drawers pulling out. They same well inside of the brackets so there is no clearance issues.

Those that have a decked system, do you like it? Is it worth the weight penalty (200lbs) all the time minimum extra in your trucks? Anything you don’t like about the system? I’m guessing if you have one installed you’re more into overland than crawling? Is the narrow drawer useful? I was thinking a couple Helinox chairs, roll up aluminum table, and kitchen stuff in that side? D boxes in the right side organized better?

Thoughts in general for packing in a decked system? Also I’m buying it with the full intention of mounting an Alu-cab slide and 63qt fridge to the passenger side (to help balance weight). Anyone using a decked system with a fridge slide?

    Thanks a million!!!

Good thread. I want that decked system! So cool. I would imagine the same gap applies to the short bed guys as well right? Meaning, I could run bed stiffeners and still retain a gap like on the long beds?

I’m from SoCal. Still my home base.

Unfortunately I lost track of the build thread when full time work/full time adventuring took priority. I’m making big changes to my build very soon so I’ll get back on it and update as much as I can. I’m mostly active in IG these days unless I have a killer deal for folks here.

A lot of those questions I’ve addressed here (just my opinion/official review):
