Also side note, as @Jibbs brought this up in the main thread. I can't tell a difference in ride at all with my little ole AAL. It did cause the suspension to sag some. It dropped it 1" on the passenger side and less than .25" on drivers side. Now the rear is almost level lol. Right at 39" from the ground on passenger and 38.75" driver!

From the ground? You should measure from center cap on wheel. Not that it matters lol, that's close enough I assume it's pretty level. I wanna see this thing in daylight.

Gimme dat cash. Lol. That would be so freaking useful under a shell...because I still have sidewalls to keep stuff in the bed

Honestly this system would have the most function with a shell no doubt.

That's my thought. You still have "bed" I guess but have basically made it a flat bed with really short sides lol.

Something you don't consider too, is the fact that you don't have to get up in the bed to grab stuff. Sooooo much easier to have the drawers come out and make it easily accessible.

It was pretty much, but I wasn't very organized. Having my spare tire on the roof helped though and I don't have that option with the new tent.

    Check The Build Thread
I’ve got the BedSlide under my cap...comparing my BedSlide to this Decked is something I look forward to at Black Mountain. With the BedSlide, I kind of lose some horizontal space because of the slide itself. It seems like some vertical space for larger items would be lost with the Decked under my cap...but I also wonder about the horizontal space too with the drawers.

Are the drawers the only usable space under the deck or is pretty much all the bed space under the deck usable (minus the space taken up by drawer tracks)? How much space is lost by all the tracks, mounting brackets, etc.?

It is essentially the drawer mounting and hardware. Obviously there is no useable space underneath where the wheel wells are. They give you "ammo cans" where the dead space is on the side of the drawers. I think they do fairly good making use of the dead space.

Do you have access to your bed pockets and outlet still?

Hm..thats sad lol. I thought one of those side areas in the system would give you access...i use those. That also makes me think of the people with the air compressors in those pockets now they can't get to them if needed

The big pocket you could still have access to the air hose. You have like 4 " off it that you can get to.

But you have to leave it open when you install the decked? Or can you leave the door on it?
