Deepest speakers for 04 standard cab

    I want to upgrade to components and the set I want has a 2.7 mounting depth for the mid woofer.

    I spoke with Crutchfield support and they stated the depth for the stock location is 2.6 inches.

    Has anyone put in a speaker more than 2.6 into the stock location?

    Also, I am not using regular 5x7s. I am converting to 5.25s.
