Well....er.....umm...*clears throat....hmm,,,,
There's a super old cemetary in Nowhere, Illinois....anyhoosier....we saw 59 deer in the area about a month ago so I told my buddy we gonna drive really slow thru that area our next few trips and sees wut we sees regarding deer herns....we've found 3 so far, all of them have been right by the road where they're jumping the road ditch.

I was in his state. I havent hunted Missouri in probably 25 years.

 

if you look for sheds on the side of the road in a pickup truck. You might be a redneck!!

 

Its also a good place to find signs.....or so I've heard.


Obviously, I wouldn't know about that.

hey I’m with ya! All I found a chewed on 5 point horn and she found all the good ones. I was half proud and half pissed.

 

when I first read your post I thought it was a “don’t take your lady” type of post because there was going to be an after photo of one of those broken on the ground at the truck, I’m glad I was mistaken!! Badass for you guys and not to make assumptions, not sure her experiences in life but at my house it goes a long ways when the Mrs is included on days like this, good on you man..

My wife has no desire to spend time in the woods for any reason, especially while wearing shorts.

 

That’s my go-to

 

If the weathers good enough for shorts and she doesn’t have to get up at 4am she is normally game. Change any 2 of those variables and I’m going solo.

 

At this point in my life, I kinda side with her

I still go out at all temps and early in the morning but I bitch about it the entire time

 

Sometimes I drive to my hunting places just for the truck naps.
