Deer hunting BS thread

Man, I'm trying to empty out the freezer for this coming season and stumbled on this thread. Here's to a good season yall!

 

saw couple doe's I could have shot one but didnt want to end my deer hunting season quite this early

 

wtf is the temps in NI rite now wil? shit, bow opens here me thinks round 9/9, but you will only see me out throwin corn, TOO freakin hot to hunt-n-the skeets are as big as bluejays round here, i usually ease in in mid-October

 

I have about 6 steaks and 5 lbs of chopmeat left. My freezer needs to be filled fast!

This Saturday is opening day bow season for us in NJ. So excited I can barely stop looking over my “truck and hunting checklist”

ok, my old eyes see2 spots for boards to go into the bottom of the blind? on the opposite side of the ladder?

 

The ladder also has 2 4x4 posts,4 posts total.

awrite bht just to right of that rope hanging down (1st pic) there are, 2, two more open,unused slots for 4x4 i reckon, do i need to come down there and show ya?? and doesnt anyone else see whut i see?

 

I thought the same thing, go ahead and add two more for more stability.

 

Well I'm about 9 months removed from this guy and I checked my fire ant mount and he was clean as a whistle and stained alabama red clay.

 

There are 2 extra,not sure why. With the four 4x4 and thats a cable you see,which is connected to a 3 foot anchor it’s very stable and solid.

 

Almost makes we wish we had fire ants up here. Not.
If I ever kill a decent one I’m bringing him down there for a treatment lol that looks great

 

Thats about all they're good for and I was beginning to wonder. I had a whole head in there too and everyone and then I would check on it and there is still hide on the top soni just assumed the ants were still work in on em, but I pulled everything out and its all clean except for that l mohawk haha the jaw bone stayed in the bed when I pull it out

 

Went out to check cameras and my food plots. Looks like the deer will have plenty of groceries to eat this fall.
