I had 4 meat bins I bought a few seasons ago, and I broke a couple so I started to look for replacements. IIRC they were about $10 each but for the life of me I cant find where I bought them. So I go look on-line and most are in the $20 range! So I find the bins Im looking for at Cabelas for $9.99 each! I picked up another 4 just to be on the safe side ;) and I got a cracked pepper and garlic summer sausage kit.

I’d like to see it. I think.

Had something run a doe by me this morning. Her fawns stopped to eat about 10 yards from me and she kept going. Circled around and picked them up a few minutes later. That was all I saw today. Football now, so I’ll go back tomorrow.

I parked by my gate to my property and apparently the route of travel is close to the gate area since a Doe I assume saw my atv and started snorting and stomping...so next time Im going to park further back from my gate and hopefully that will eliminate that.

Saw 6 this morning but didn’t have a clean shot on any. One small buck and a bunch of does and fawns. Try again this evening.

I’ve seen plenty so far in the 3 days I’ve been in the woods. Nothing has presented a decent shot, though. Hard to get a decent shot with a bow when all the leaves are still on the trees and it’s 99% hardwoods where I’m hunting.

Actually, I did have a shot at a doe, but there was a spike that absolutely refused to stop looking past the tree I was in. If i had moved they would have been gone. By the time he moved, the doe had moved, too.

Looking forward to this season. I got a doe tag, AND a bonus tag, and so did ALL of the other 4 people that I usually hunt with. Almost unheard of for this area.

For those in the Southeast: Y'all think this hurricane is going to disrupt the deer for a bit? I'm making sure my stands are cabled tight for the weekend.

sure will, they react to pressure changes, as do fish.but it should only be for a bit, unless yer flooded.
