    I just finished the leftovers off from this shoulder roast. I got 1 more shoulder and 8 steaks in the freezer... November 17 cant get here soon enough

    It is 4th year. Of 8 or more last year was a 13. I have been lucky love the muzzleloader he was on the first day of season, I have 4 other bucks on camera bigger then him, he was the paddle rack. All honesty I want to get a doe so bad this year

    I save the heart and liver for my dad. I’m not a fan of either personally. If the heart was prepared well, I might change my mind as it’s just another muscle but I can’t stand the taste of liver. :puke:

    I wouldn't ever pass on that buck anyway! I'm a meat hunter first, always. I dream of the big buck/bull too, but meat comes first. I have a cow elk hunt coming in a few weeks that will HOPEFULLY be my first elk! :) :fingerscrossed:
