    Other than figuring out the plaque, the mount for my lease-mate is finished up. Paying customer took priority over my axis mount.


    Hoping to finish up my mount this weekend.

    im holding off till Feb. we have a 100acre bow only santuary on our land. couple big ones in there we know didnt get takin. youngins never go in there lookin.im goin there. we had a few on camera still with horns. not much food this year in the mtns. last year we had pics in Feb. of Nice bucks still carryin both sides:thumbsup:

    Late January deer hunting sucks in case y'all were wondering. I sat for a couple hours this morning and the skipped around several acres of pine thicket for a couple hours.. Saw nothing but some crows and I came home and took a nap. The wife sat on a stand near the property line and the neighbors have moved on to squirrel hunting already so all she saw was some dogs and shotguns... We still have 2 weeks left but man its gonna be rough going in afraid

    We're bucks only here this time of year and they are all pretty much nocturnal I guess. No one I have talked to has seen any in weeks. I'm about to pick up the scatter gun and load her up with #6 and see what kinda critters I can bring home...
