Deer hunting BS thread

I’ve been deer hunting for 45 years and I’m still learning!!

 

I love to talk to hunters. you WHACKED em. I like that! I like to say Bussa a cap in their ass! and stuff like that too.and i call Big bucks Nut draggers

 

Never heard that one ! I’m gonna have to use that some time

 

I’m gonna try this this up coming as well

 

I’ve seen deer in my blinds line up sights just about to pull the trigger and I’d have to stop no antlers

 

I’ve already started looking for land to
Hunt. And scouting national forest

 

If your in Charlottesville, Albemarle and Nelson Co’s have some of the biggest bucks ive ever seen. access is the problem.I live over the mtn. and have hunted there a good bit.any privateland @Charlottesviie is Good!! goodluck!All the counties along the East side of the Blueridge are good

 

I’ve been trying for 2 years to get land to hunt over here. People want 100/acre for lease.

There’s no law against shooting coyotes here in CA smoke that thing.

 

Ha-ha, ya, I know you are correct!! new to CA, retired here from MN a couple of years ago, Love the state hate the politics, In MN the gun laws are much more relaxed & I understood the laws better, However I understood just what I was getting into before moving here. My hunting days are pretty much over & I have no regrets, now I spend my shooting days at the range. That being said, seeing all the coyotes I may start hunting them, There is no shortage of Cougar either, I haven't actually seen one, but I come across track more than like.

 

3 coyotes outside the front door this morning . Between 300 and 400 yards Im guessing . Winged one and tracked it around 2 miles before I was done with my coffee . I’m sure it will be fine ,they are tough doggies !

Think so ? I tracked that bastard quite a ways . Was almost to the next town . Was hoping he would head for his den but his cardio was better than mine . Found a small sliver of bone in the blood when I first started tracking !

 

If he didn't die somewhere, infection probably get him.

 

Ugh ,that sucks ! I was on property I have ever been on and he just kept going . Huge chunk of land in front of my house is the largest wooded chunk in the county .
