    Meat processor grinds on Saturdays in bow season no matter what day you bring it. Went and picked it up, 72 lbs of meat.

    My butcher gives a choice. Pork fat, beef fat, bacon, or nothing. For years I had beef fat added. Several years ago I tried the pork fat. I like that much better than than the beef fat.

    Yesterday was opening day. I was stuck at work. Went this morning and saw 17. Mostly does with fawns. They’re all still too young for me to take mom away from them. Had a yearling doe come out at 9:45. Watched her for about 25 minutes then decided to take her since i knew she didn’t have any offspring. Might have gone 50 yards

    Went and moved a blind today. Hopefully my wife can get a nice buck out of this. The tree stand is below the blind and I tried to hide it in some trees. There was another nice 8 coming in until the one I shot started showing up.
