I’m constantly adding new things to my hunting clothing collection. I need a new Scent-Lok baselayer ,they only last a few years depending on how much you wash them . Just bought a Skyline Camo jacket on E- bay . Pattern has been off the market for a long time .

Not yet. He is about 40 yards from that shooting house there. Bow season opens in a month but I probably won't hit the woods at least till Nov. Its still bumpin mid to upper 90's here and I ain't fightin ticks, skeeters and snakes if I can help it... Well except for checkin the cameras and working on that shooting house I guess

Ole 8 pt was in there the morning I shot him. I think these are the first pictures I had of him not in shooting hours. I gave the head to a friend who has some beetles, we’re hoping they don’t mess with the velvet. We’ll see.

It's also the first time I've noticed him carrying that front foot.

I hunted the 10th and didn’t see anything. He was in there the 11th and then this other one came in. My wife will probably shank him if he comes in while she’s there. I have one buck tag left, he’ll have to be bigger than what I shot if I shoot another buck. I’m waiting until the rut before I hunt again. Will take our son one day soon.

Looks like they may have a common denominator somewhere... Tall gas and that kinda crabclaw (at least a seeming large gap between g2 and 3) out the end... Will be super cool to see what he does next year if he manages to slip through the cracks this year

I like my venison lean, so when I used to take it to the processor I'd tell them to leave the fat out.

Bed led, under hood led, secondary auxiliary panel,
I had a friend give us some beef fat ground venison he swore by it, will be the best you ever had :puke: it was not and I haven’t eaten another persons venison since. A lot lot has to deal with the processing and handling after the kill. In Fl our deer are really lean.

we always use beef or pork fat. deer fat can get kind of rancid and taste bad.
