Have you tried Lacrosse Burly? Since I went to them I've had no problems with cold feet. I wear them slightly loose with one decent pair of socks.

I have insulated boots , wool socks, heated socks ,and 1200 gram boots.
I mix and match depending on wind chill, ground or stand, dampness, temp conditions during the day.
    Sucks but necessary

Technically my feet are always feeling cold about this time of year so I have to make sure they are actually warm.
    Socks work pretty good.
I find it’s better to cycle them on and off . Keeps the batteries longer

I got pulled of my tree early last night. I hunt behind my house. I can see the house and the road. I see a car driving slow, no big deal cars always slow down near my house because of a major deer crossing. The car stopped about 50 yards from driveway. Driver gets out and starts walking towards the driveway. I'm thinking what the f%&k. Then walks towards the house, dog is barking like crazy. I climb down and take the fastest way to road and then towards the house. He sees me and meets at lawn/field edge. By now I'm pissed. He doesn't say who he is or what he wants. He try's to make small talk about hunting, then ask me if he should leave. I said. Yes, leave NOW.
I had my phone out taking pictures of him and his car. Wife was in the house ready to call the sheriff.
Don't know who he was or what he wanted.
He was dressed real nice in a black suit.
