    Went to draw in for ducks this morning and had to come to a complete stop as a zombie 8-pointer stumbled across the highway. Looked like he had been running all night chasing does. I actually thought he had been hit for a second, he was so shaky. The rut is a crazy thing.

    Got some meat in the freezer this mornin. First one of the season that had horns, so I pulled the trigger on him. Now I can hunt horns. He ran about 5 yards, wiggled once, and it was over. Best part is, I didn't hardly mess up any of the shoulder. Hit right behind it and blew up his heart, and that was all she wrote.

    got his ass this mornin in another stand.he had a small nicked place in his brisket, so obviously i had shot him to far forward.. o well. seen 4 bucks this mornin by 715 all hittin the same scrape. he was the first one to come in at 640 i could barely see him through the scope but i knew he had pretty good horns so i took my chances and stuck him. im happy. and outta buck tags. im pleased to be done before rifle season.:D[​IMG] [​IMG][​IMG]

    Just woke up to go on my first day of vacation. Wind's blowin about 20 mph. Don't think I wanna go sit 20' up a tree with 20 mph winds :(. Back to bed I guess
