Oh yeah he's a wall hanger for sure. I think I'm goin to sit in the Mornin now haha. That picture made the hair on my neck stand up. He walked right near where my dad hunted tonight this Mornin

Went to draw in for ducks this morning and had to come to a complete stop as a zombie 8-pointer stumbled across the highway. Looked like he had been running all night chasing does. I actually thought he had been hit for a second, he was so shaky. The rut is a crazy thing.

 

Getting my head ready to hang on the wall.

 

Good day hunting yesterday. Saw 7 bucks and one doe on the same hill. And whacked the big boy. There was another one under my uncle about the same size as the one I killed.

 

I lost a good buck today. Hair blood the whole time we literally tracked him a mile through a thicket, crossed some train tracks and was long gone

 

Got some meat in the freezer this mornin. First one of the season that had horns, so I pulled the trigger on him. Now I can hunt horns. He ran about 5 yards, wiggled once, and it was over. Best part is, I didn't hardly mess up any of the shoulder. Hit right behind it and blew up his heart, and that was all she wrote.

got his ass this mornin in another stand.he had a small nicked place in his brisket, so obviously i had shot him to far forward.. o well. seen 4 bucks this mornin by 715 all hittin the same scrape. he was the first one to come in at 640 i could barely see him through the scope but i knew he had pretty good horns so i took my chances and stuck him. im happy. and outta buck tags. im pleased to be done before rifle season.

Done with the boil. Still have some clean up to do, but its mostly done.

 

Just got in the stand. A lot of good sign walkin in. Got jhodge in a good spot. Hopefully one of us will shoot

Just woke up to go on my first day of vacation. Wind's blowin about 20 mph. Don't think I wanna go sit 20' up a tree with 20 mph winds . Back to bed I guess
