I have a 742 semiauto in .30-06. Killed my first deer with it. Switched to 308 so I don’t wear out the bolt rails like they are prone to

Edit: gave to me by my grandfather and I want my kids to kill their first deer with it if and when That time comes

my mountain gun is a 7600 pump carbine 30-06. have a 7400 too. gave my full length 760 30-06 to my son.some guys at camp are amazed at some of the shots he makes with it. we have bolt actions set up for when we hunt down in the fields and CRP. I do love my pump.

BUSTED! I’ve been using my Dad’s 742 for the last couple of years, still have my Savage 308 for when it’s wet (Model 16 in stainless).

Easier than pulling the trailer I built up the mountain every time. Although it’s easier to load them on the trailer.

We have a trailer but its got some crappy bearings I just replaced this year. Not very sturdy for long travels...I need to get some better axles with bigger bearings and mount to it.
