    Sittin in a small patch of woods we have a few greens planted in and my longest shot on a deer might be 30 yards... But don't havr super high hopes because this Is seriously like 4 acres of woods and so it doesnt really hold a lot of deer, however squirrels and rabbits are usually plentiful. The only thing that has came in range so far is a coon though... Oh also duck season opened today so I have been hearing a constant battery of shotgun blasts for almost 2 hours.

    The 8 I passed up Tuesday morning came around again this morning. My dad and I switched stands today - he sat where i usually sit and vice versa. Again, land owner wants us to shoot everything. This is the first deer bigger than a 6 he’s seen up there this season, so he pulled the trigger to keep the land owner happy. Now we’re both hunting the big boy.

    She was pretty excited for like 20 mins and the she did great till 4:30... When she woke up from a nap haha and was up for 5 kins and then slept till dark.
    Saw a bunch of squirrels and a covey of raccoons

    Rut has been hampered by warm weather in GA. Feels like it does this every year. The temp will drop into the 30s-40s and scrapes/rubs will show up then when they start chasing, BAM...70 degrees and they won't move in the day. This state and its weather....fffffffff.

    I know all to well exactly how you feel. Usually we get a good cold snap mid-end of Nov and rut goes full swing the first week of December, more often than not we don't see freezing temps again till christmas. Luckily rut hit a couple weeks early for some reason haha but it is 65° and a little rainy right now
