Told my buddy and he said he would be calling the police to report a body instead of the game warden :anonymous:.

All jokes aside, I hate poachers. I wanted to kill that deer as much as he did, Only difference is I tried to do it legally.

Now I can focus more time on a big 12 down there, and I passed on a 120's 8 point because he was younger but I don't think I will be able to let him walk again.

After some research, it is, indeed, illegal to take sheds (or anything else, honestly), from a national park.

Have feeders out at the farm and one feder behind the shop. Here at the house two cattle ranch’s pretty much surround me and they do not allow any hunting at all so I see some really nice deer.

Did some driving this evening in Illinois. Deer were all over the place. We have one of those umpire clicker things we use to count them...today we saw 249 total. I saw 3 different bucks that were locked on does. Would hardly take their eyes off of them. I got one crappy pic of one of the bucks, he was about 80-90 yards away.

Friend of mine went to Illinois last week on a shotgun hunt, not sure what part. I don’t think he saw any bucks. Said it rained and the wind blew 20-30 mph the whole time he was there.

The friend who helped me pull my truck out Sunday said he was bushhogging some land Friday and around 11:30 am a good buck was chasing a doe across the field. He said he was give out but he wasn’t giving up.

I ask our son on the way hunting yesterday "what you want to shoot?" his response "I'm shooting the first thing that walks out, deer, snake, it don't matter" I said snakes can't walk. He said "if I see one I'm shooting it though"

I'm looking for the same info.

I will say this, I have 3 wildgame innovations ones I bought for around $40-$50 a piece and although I have some good pictures from them, I won't buy another one. One of them has crapped out already and they are less than 3 years old.

how much are the cameras that text you pictures? my BIL got one this year and it seems like the way to go you dont have to pull a card and read it or even go check the thing, i think it even sends an alert when the batteries are low. Ill probably be buy those from here on personally

You can find the spypoint link micro for right at 100 if you look around. Dicks has it for 100 here. I don't personally own one but I know a guy that does and he likes it. I picked it up for him when the access to an island was flooded and I had a pair of waders and they are definently small and the pics I saw were good quality.

I own some other cellular cameras and they are really a game changer becuase you don't have to disturb the area as well as saving time and getting pictures in real time.
