    Black snake. They get a hard pass. Actually most snakes do. Unless it's venomous and won't give way. Even then I'm not inclined to kill it. Our one rail trail that parallels the river had an abundance of copperheads this year as did the area I bowhunt. Watch where I walk and set my pack.

    I grew this big fella for 5yrs. I attempted to take him during archery season. I missed my opportunity unfortunately (got out of stand too early and bumped him on my way out) and he got killed the first morning of rifle season. My aunt killled him and cut his horns off and tossed them in her garage. Very disappointed i even cleared a spot on the living room wall to hang his shoulder mount. I have his sheds from last year they scored 125, id say he was close to 130 this year.
