Thank you . I think I can finally leave this thing alone. Working from home has given me plenty of time to tinker with it.

Anybody know what’s wrong with this deer? Friend got it on his camera recently.

I just ordered a SWEET 20 gauge Browning BPS (used) from Gunbroker. No more rifle hunting in Pa. due to their rule changes that I disagree with (that is beside the point) so I will be strictly hunting in Ohio from now on. Been using a Dan Wesson .357 magnum with 8" barrel and open sites for the past 10+ years in Ohio. Good for walking and close range, but decided to get another slug gun. Gun has fully rifled 22" barrel with a cantilever scope mount. My 63 year old eyes are getting worse, which is why I didn't go with open sights.

Anyway........what is a good quality 2-7 power SHOTGUN scope??? I read on several sites that the Nikon Prostaff P3 shotgun BDC 200 in 2-7 power was the best rated shotgun scope (2020 ratings). However, when trying to find one, it seems they are no longer made and can't even find a used one. Anyone know where I can get one??

    OR: Your RECOMMENDATIONS, please........
I like Leupold, Nikon, Vortex and am open to others. However, I don't want to spend more on the scope than I did on the gun!!!!

I’ve got a BPS 20 gauge I’ve had for 25 years, killed a lot of stuff with it. Missed a lot too!

What changes in PA? I looked around but the only big change that I saw was Sunday hunting. on specific days.

Cumulative for me over the years......Last season was #50 hunting for me in Pa. I am a traditionalist - opening day was ALWAYS the first Monday after Thanksgiving for me. Spike or 2 points to a side for a legal buck now 3 points to a side at least 1" long where I hunted - ever try to count points and guess 1" or longer on an obvious buck moving through brush/saplings head high??? Concurrent "buck and doe" seasons - as a non-resident I haven't been able to get an antlerless (doe) tag in well over 20 years. When it was 'buck only' I could at least get excited when hearing closer shots, assuming there was a legal deer out there that I may have a chance at. Concurrent seasons - most likely a doe/antlerless and not even excited 'cause I have no chance at a shot. Concurrent seasons change from year to year along with the DMAP shit. Found out last year where I hunted (same area for roughly 45 years) on the opening day that we were in a DMAP area, meaning antlerless deer could be legally harvested.

Ohio has Sunday hunting - has for years - and I do hunt on Sundays, but you do not see any major increase of people in the woods like it was proposed to do. I easily could do without it and frequently don't go out on Sundays.

Pa. is supposedly trying to recruit 'new' hunters, but they lost a 50 year veteran non-resident hunter. Too many new assholes in the woods last opener (Saturday) for me - no hunter ethics/courtesy.
