Bow/crossbow season opened this past Saturday, my son got this buck, it's got 13 scorable points, it has junk everywhere around the bases, his first velvet buck ever.
    He's one happy Hunter.

Aha! another saddle hunter. I'm finally getting caught up on this thread and saw your post! how do you like it so far? I'm interested to hear your setup. I have hunted the past few years in a custom sit drag saddle setup and I'm currently waiting on my Cruzr XC for this year to change it up a bit. I have used hawk heliums (looks like the same for you) with a rope mod and a webbing aider the past few years. I'm cutting them down and adding double-step amsteel aiders this year with daisy chains instead of the rope mod.

I love it for public land and hiking a few miles to where deer are but I will still end up in a box stand on private every once in a while haha.

    Everything
This is my first season using a saddle. I have done a few practice sits with it and I really enjoy it. Tethrd Phantom saddle with kong duck accenders and opulux linesman rope and tether. I’m using a 2nd gen wei perch for my platform. Yep, I have the hawk helum steps. I’ll probably get daisy chains for the sticks soon. At first I tried the wild edge steps with a naider/aided combo, but I’m not comfortable climbing like that yet.

I’m using the saddle to get deep into public land here in Oklahoma. I still have my lease in Texas with feeders and a box blind for my guaranteed freezer meat.

A 2019 pic and 2020 pic of all three. Nothing crazy like most of your bucks but I like seeing them grow.
