Currently deployed to Kuwait, so I missed the Fall 2012 hunting season and I'll miss the Spring 2013 season. If all goes well, I'll be home for the Fall 2013 season, but will most likely miss the elk archery season. I bought a Mathews Heli-m this past fall thinking that I would be able to make it out before we left. Looking forward to returning home, so I can hit the woods.

Well yesterday was our last day for the season here. I didn't see a dang thing. Ended up with a 7 point and a 5 point this year. Pretty slow year for me

I was sick this weekend so I didn't even get to go. Yesterday was the last day. Saw plenty of deer this year, but only ended up with a spike and the big one I couldn't find. Oh well. I'll be back next year.

Yeah I saw a good amount of deer this year. I wanted to kill a big buck. Hopefully I get a chance next season. Time to bring out my boat now

i almost took out the biggest buck of my life the last day of the WNC season, with my car!! ran out in front of me at midnight not a half-mile from the farm. our neighbor had been seeing him all season but never closed the deal. he'll be number 1 on my list come sept. 8 point with every single tine over 8 inches. crazy big.

Lord willin and the creeks don't rise, I'll be on the river Saturday for the first time in 2012. It was in Jan last year when my girlfriend's brother and I went and he caught a 28" rainbow.

    Late season meat run. Texas

I took my deer at 70 yards then 3 pig popped up at 220. I was able to get 2 but the 3rd run out of the lane so he got away. All with the trusty 6.8.

ygazu8yz_f453de14b22464d2c7e82664e53152c02972bdd7.jpgasses to elbows! The intent was all meat.

These 4 kills were in a matter of 5 minutes from first shot to last. My buddy heard my shot go and he shot his right after then my pigs popped up.

That's pretty cool. And for 30 bucks. Might pick one up for next season just to try it

Thought about it as well. I bought the rechargeable Thermacell shoe insoles this past season and my feet didn't get cold at all. I know handwarmers are really cheap, but after a few seasons these things could pay for themselves for $30.
