    Yes, good spot of blood, it looks pretty damp there, makes it double hard. I would try the ever expanding circle, keep an eye out for thick groves of trees or brush. sometimes they are not found, as long as you do your best (and it looks like you are) that is about all you can do. I wish you luck!!!

    I had a dog come not even 5' from me and my pack while sitting up against a tree during elk season. Winds were 45+ that day, my buddy was in the bowl below me and I didn't know what his status was / if he was in the heard or not. I had to grunt at the fucker just to get him to get away, otherwise I had the most clear shot on a yote I've ever been / probably ever will be situated for.

    My son is 22 and I sat right with him in the pop up blind to help 'coach' him. Don't think he as hunted since early teens, so he is still a neophyte. Will be similar in spring gobbler season - he has only been out once before. And never trout fished, let alone fly fished so that one should be REALLY interesting. May try my buddies pond with the fly rod first just to get him in the routine.
