I’ve been there a few times, and a buddy has bought a lot of stuff from them. They have always treated me well, a lot better than Grice’s.

that buck came from way back in the mtns behind the homeplace, its actually a desinated Wilderness Area now..in the early 60’s. never scored it but with the mass its got to be upper 150’s. the boys are into scoring.im going to get them to measure it one day. id like to remount it one day if we get a thick neck one they arent mounting.

we actually run more this time of year.no baiting during season but after the 1st week of Jan. all big game is out and you can. we set up in more transition areas headed low. pump out the feed with cameras on it to get sheds. we will have bucks that come in then missing one or both horns. we back track the trails they come from and find quite a few. the youngins seem to enjoy this more than the hunt sometimes.but yes its on private land

Our archery season runs through January 17th but, I have to admit, hunting burnout is starting to set in. I typically make 100+ trips to the deer stand each year. Anticipation for the upcoming shed hunting season is also setting in. I usually leave my cameras out till mid February so I have an idea when the antlers start hitting the ground. We have some nice bucks that survived all gun seasons and we have lots of food left, standing corn and beans.

Trail mix, if I tried that in Fl, I would have a three foot high fire ant mound lol.

It works. and most of the sows are denned. boars are or nested up so bears are not an issue with the trail mix. ever seen a bear nest? back in the laureal thickets they will use leaves, twigs and limbs. looks like a huge bird nest.will get up once in a while to strech and even move a little.sows actually den here.
