    I got out the door for 1550. Sight was slightly cheaper than the one I wanted to get, and still don’t have a stabilizer. So...yea 2000 sounds about right.

    Got the V3 dialed in at 30 yards. Most of my shots will be that or less. Gonna have to find a new spot to shoot to (safely) push it past 30. Got 2 pins left to set.

    Well. Turkey opened saturday. Was my daughters birthday party so I didn't go out. Didn't really bother me. Turkey isn't really my thing anyway. Went around and drove around sunday with the family in the car. Saw tons of turkeys on private land. Got shut down on all of them. Found some more on a nice creek bottom. Got permission on the neighboring property. Nice creek bottom. Creek wraps around in this ag field. Nice cover for them to hide around away from the houses in the area. Going out this saturday with my daughter. Should be fun.

    ours started Sat. boys went and this morning here at the house. called one in this morning,had 6 hens with it. had him in range but surrounded by hens. held off. pretty ethical hunter ive raised. oh, doesnt hurt his bud he hunts and works with is a championship caller who also guides some.it is awsome to listen to him call.
