    There’s public land right on the other side of the road that they'll end up on come November. Nice quick hunt. Won’t ever kill anything giant there, but if I’m just looking for meat, it’s a 3 minute walk from my truck to my tree. Nice for after work trips.

    He hasn’t made it over to my spot yet according to cameras, but maybe when rut rolls around. (Zoomed in on iPhone and through binos…hard to get a clean pic)

    also saw 2 more somewhat close to his size but not quite within about 1/2 mile of my spot. Maybe theyll swing by this year.

    Youth day is on the 14th, so probably taking both kids out. 15th starts open season on all guns/archery. Have to wait until September 15th to start using doe tags.
