Put out a couple cameras Sunday. One in a field, just a couple does on it. One in the woods where I've hunted the last couple years. Couple does and a small 5 point and small 8 point

Think WMA is any good? Im not trying to call in my kills, so I don't want to get popped. (Talked to a warden about the call in vs the old systems and you better believe the call in system is not about stopping poachers. They couldn't answer how it woupd stop poaching, so it has another hidden intent.)

Never hunted public land, so I don't know. I would imagine, just like hunting camps, they're probably over-hunted. Who knows though!

well Id say the first couple hundred yards are...go past that and it knocks out most lazy hunters...the further out you go the less people and more wildlife you will see.

A lot of WMAs are great. I don't know what's around you, but there are monsters that com off the WMAs around here.

Scout early and often, then when you go to hunt it, get there EARLY. We hunted Berry college and got to out Parking spot at 3:30 am Last November.

Just back back from Wal Mart with a new battery for my corn feeder, 3 bags of apple flavored corn, and a salt block. Now it's time to plant some food plots!

Looks like it in the pic, but I'm not sure. The wife saw a 10 pointer in the woods yesterday and said it still had velvet, so I dunno. The one in the pic might be an early bloomer :notsure:

Went to check mine yesterday and dropped some more corn. Battery read full Thursday when I was there...dead when I showed up yesterday. I'll go back sometime this week and change them out I guess.

had a scare not far from my house a few days ago...13.6 acre fire that could have gotten bad if it got out of control. Luckily Fire department got to it quick. Hard to see but theres fire crews and all the black is burned trees/underbrush.
