Youth day is Saturday at the house, guess I'll get the Savage 220 slug gun out and let the kids shoot it. We can only hunt that morning :infantry:Got somewhere to be that afternoon.

    True.
Several years ago in the Watershed for 2 seasons, there was an old doe that busted me many times.
She would step out from a distance and actually look up in the trees and start barking, alerting just about everything.
Seems it wasn't her first rodeo and figured she's been shot at before.
Never came in close enough to zap her.

We have the wife's cousin and his wife from Bavaria at the house .
Turned them on to my famous venny kabobs.

Makes all those hours sitting in a tree worth it, no?

    Venny goodness...

Evening everyone. Sucking hind tit again this year with my mowing at the cabin. Promised myself last year this wouldn't happen again but... Season opens next Saturday and I have one more big field to mow and two smaller ones. Have a new ladder to assemble and haul to new spot in what we call the 'pines' very thick patch. Hurt myself when my Boy and I were mounting the mower on JD. Procedure done on the 26th, thought I could climb right back on tractor but ain't no way! Hopefully possibly maybe next Wed or Thursday I can attempt. Keep your awesome pics coming cause I'm not doing much trying to listen and heal.

    Good man.
We've been working our azzes off for the last 6 months at the new place.
Things are slowly getting done and quieting down. Couple more things to do and we should be all set for a while.
Picked up my compound yesterday. It's a no go as I can't even raise it and my shoulder damage is permanent.
That's why they make crossbows I guess so I'm still in the game.
Gonna feel weird this year bow hunting my own place.
