Haven't even had a chance to post up the pics of my new Tacoma. 4 Days old and a deer didn't like the way the front end look.

Glad I hadn't installed the TRD Pro grill yet.

Damn deer! This time of year I try not to drive after dark, damn things are thick as fleas... unless I'm out in the woods with a gun. Sorry for your loss.

Yech. That sucks. I just bought one in October in PA too so ... yeah. Risky time of year to be hooning around at dawn or dusk in a shiny new truck.

Damn, mine's new too. I'd be crushed. I guess the deer is too.

Yeah not much I could do about it. On the bright side, I decided not to ride the bike in to work this morning, which turned out to be a good decision.

Time to look at some aftermarket bumpers.

Plate bumper FTW - you just missed the group buy... again sorry for your loss.

On a somewhat brighter note - glad you weren't the deer, eh?

Happened to me... truck was 3 days old and some one ran into my rear bumper, not as hard as the deer but still. Hurts the pride more than anything.

I bought a plate bumper for my rear... front plate on order. Funny no one parks very close to my truck anymore... I guess looking at a big steel bumper kinda does that... I dont have to worry about someone bumping into me to partk any more! Plus you'll be glad no more plastic! There's a lot of plastic on these bumpers. Scratch a plate bumper and get out the paint can... problem solved.

I hit a deer ... I'm not swerving out of they way that's how YOU get killed. Sorry deer sorry... shouldn't be standing in the road not in a cross walk...just sayin.

From what I have seen most car-truck killed deer aren't worth the time to try and harvest. Lots of bruising and damaged meat. My worst was in a Le Barron drop top at about 4:30 AM, nothing like air bag in your face in the morning (wakes you up better then coffee). Not to mention a deer on your soft top pushing your face even deeper into the airbag. Cop.. do you want to keep the deer? Me... I know it's dead, but would you mind shooting it just to make me feel better?

I feel for you...I really do. I hit one about a month ago and it pisses me off to no end. I fixed everything but the fog light.

Best of luck and good thing you are ok.

Oh man, I'd be stoked! Get paid out and then Winch bumper, scooped hood, lights!

Hope it's all just cosmetic damage.

Looks like It'll buff out...sorry man but I had to say it. Hope you get er fixed and back on the road. I'm seriously considering a Avid Light bar to beef up my frontend, deer around Southern Maryland are thick as ticks this time of year.
