Looking for aftermarket bumper recommendations and considerations. It’s a 2020 Sport 40k miles sees most dirt hunting in eastern Oregon.

Thinking of going with an aftermarket bumper but seems like there’s a lot to consider when deciding between keeping it stock vs a bumper that will protect from having to go through this again. Interested in all thoughts. It’s likely months till I can get it in and I have not heard from progressive yet on the claim. Thanks for your time and considerations!

ARB Bumper, SOS sliders, SOS rear bumper, SOS skid plate. OME Lift. Some other stuff.
My votes for ARB, tested and approved on both kangaroos and dingos.

@dny , I'm happy you came out of it okay. Bummer about the Taco and I'm sure the deer regrets the decision as well.

Geez, how big was the op's deer? My brother hit a 400 lb black bear at 55 mph with his highlander years ago, and didn't do that kind of damage. Btw, the bear was declared das.

I have been kicking around a idea to make a push Bar for my Hitch on my 2022 TRD. The Bumper is plastic and nothing back there to push on that is solid? Just a T-Bar made out of Box Steel. Seen Steps but not what I am looking for. Not a crash Bar but strong enough to push on or bump into. Maybe have ends too that slip into box steel like the hitch bolted off the frame. Keeping the stock look on the back end at the same time.

She was a big doe. I also skidded maybe 3-5 ft before contact. Before picking everything out of the front it looked way worse at first inspection.

It’s way off from a total I’m thinking.
