Might as well start my so-so mild progress thread

Nothing extraordinary - just your everyday 2012 Tacoma V6 4x4 TRD Sport , Double Cab , Long Box

I do have plans to slightly customize her but not as crazy as most here. Plans are really for Work use and occasionally hauling fishing, camping, golf and snowboarding gear around Toronto

The Dealership pic that hooked me

Just got a FedEx Delivery in
    - TonnoPro Soft Tri-Fold cover
    - K&N Drop In air filter
    - Westin ProTraxx 4" Side step bars

Will post progress pics when I get a chance to install them

Nice truck but you should just keep the paper OEM air filter. The K&N was and is a waste of money as most and myself will tell you.

    Thanks for looking out.

    Yeah I read that thread

But I got it ridiculously cheap, and figured it was fine in 3 of my other vehicles... So what the hell. A lifetime filter with false promises of HP gain and Fuel savings? So what if a bit of dust gets in.... LOL. From what I read - it was still harmless to have one. Or inconclusive, at the least ...

TonnoPro sent me a nice little promo pack when they sent over the Tri-Fold cover - TonnoPro SureSeal tailgate weather seals
    - TonnoPro TonnoTorch detachable LED Bed light
    - Vinyl Cleaner/Protectant
    - TonnoPro Gloves

    All for FREEEEEEEE!!

So I got to install all those goodies along with the Westin Side Steps, the filter and some odds and ends today.

    Pics for clicks

Install was straight forward on both the tonneau and side steps. Wish someone told me to align the tonneau BEFORE tightening everything down. LOL

But maybe that was just me rushing to finish since its only 7*celsius here.

More pics when there's light... And warmth.

Boss decided to park next to me with his new FJC.... But I cropped him out so he doesn't steal the glory of my pic LOL

WeatherTech universal mats installed last week

Not the molded liners - but the trim to fit universal ones.

We're on sale here 40% off and have to say, I'm quite impressed.

DS fits nicely...A few notches out around the dead pedal and the throttle

PS fits perfect without any trimming

Rears need work though. Definitely not enough coverage. In fact the OEM ones are wider than the rear WT ones.
