    Cool, so, not trying to stir the pot any more, but to the letter of the law, in that case it's a random draw and he has to give out entries for free to anybody who asks because the law states "no purchase necessary" for all random draws. :anonymous:


    What these guys are doing is shady at best, and that's all I'm trying to say. :crapstorm:

    I don’t see how running a raffle and delivering the prize to the winner is taking advantage of anyone. Everyone who entered knew there was a chance they would lose $100 and were fully willing to do that in exchange for the chance to win a $35k truck.

    That was a general description of gambling I read years ago. If you had all three, it was gambling.

    Here chance is you might win the truck. Prize is of course the truck. Consideration is the purchasing a $100 patch (ticket). Consideration doesn't have to be monetary though. Having to be present at a certain spot at a certain time is consideration.
