If you're painting it, why bother with TRD Pro headlights? :)

Also, TRS may be able to contribute to this project if you're interested: andrew@theretrofitsource.com.

The projector is the source of the light, so every other surface around it is deemed useless once installed.

My thoughts exactly. Why spend extra dough when you can just BHLM them when they're apart.

Even if you're planning to buy a new set, why not just get new oem and paint them? The pro headlights aren't any better, just paying extra money for the bhlm, and they are going to be apart anyway. It seems like you're wasting money just to have the factor of them being "pro" headlights, but its your money in the end.

What's the difference between a regular and a "Pro" headlight?

I have been following your build for sometime. Definitely one of my most inspirational builds.

how about you let the man build the headlights how he wants. if he wants "TRD Pro" headlights then let him.

go plastidip your rims or something and leave the man alone.

Yup, agree 100%. Anything that could be bolted onto a Tacoma has been executed with the nicest stuff available to consumers and installed by the best quality shops around. No one would ever debate the amount of money Defconbrix has put into it nor the countless hours the mechanics at the shops that install everything have put into this truck.
