Purchased a new set of leaf springs from Kansas city spring and an aal from fabtech. See how close the aal is to that u bracket that holds the new springs together? Is this normal? If not, what's the solution?

That's what I was thinking, however, I put a little thought into it and I realized that all the springs will straighten. And I think when the longer springs straighten, the distance that I was concerned about will actually grow.

That's right the distance between the AAL and the clamp should remain the same.
