So I was brain storming and wondered could you feed power to your battery through your power inverter. Let's say your trucks dead, yours neighbors cars are dead, and no one has a battery charger for a square mile but your house has electricity and you could wire up a cord so it has 2 plug ends so you can plug it into the house and truck.

    Could it be done?

Sounds like a plan for blowing a lot of fuses and frying some electronics. But I'm in to see if someone smarter than me can see a solution.

First off this totally seems to be trying to be a Friday thread. Meh I guess it works, but it’s so much better when the tomfoolery is organic. Feels forced.

Anyhoo the answer to your question is “maybe”. There are power inverters. There are battery chargers. And then there are inverter chargers. If your inverter also has the ability for charging then yes you can do what you described. If not then no.

Why setup a camera? Is it for others to learn how to jump start their car?

So I figured it out. No one has a battery charger for a square mile. So you walk half a mile out of that square, get a charger, walk back, and plug it into your house and car. You'd be up and running in 30 minutes. Plus you would have gotten a little exercise.

But I dont have that 30 minutes to run and go get a charger. I have an appointment to be at and need to get it started now.

Plug in reverse inverter battery charger should be an option. Oh wait, they have that on the Prius :anonymous:
