defroster getting on my nerves

I put my ac on, selecter is on for the dash vents, working fine, and my windshield begins to condensate on the outside of the windshield. In the center of the dash where the defrost air would come out, i feel the vent leaking cold air, the defrost is OFF. anyone else have this problem?
