I've posted on my Intro Thread and now here. I can honestly say, I love the stiffer shocks...almost felt like the 4th Gen Limited I had for the day.

I'm still noticing braking difference...it's just not the same...maybe I'm over-evaluating.

I'll continue to monitor and inspect when the weather allows it.

Got an oil change to do at the Auto Hobby Shop soon...I'll have it on the Shop Lift and will have a closer look.

Other than that, I like riding a little higher now--I'm just about the height it felt on the 4th Gen Limited I had for Loaner.

Gonna round off the week with my last appointment...haircut at 3pm.

 

Update: I emailed the Service Rep and let him know about how the brakes feel.

Also, I did not get a hard-copy Spec Report for the alignment...but I was offered to have it checked if there's any issues.

I'll see how my truck handles over the weekend.

Other than that, I love how the shocks are more responsive/grounded to the road--firmer and not as much lean.

Yup, made the Bavarian Bakery run this morning...I weighed myself by accident in front of my wife last night...196...Regular 199.

So, I tanked up my truck this morning and as usual, I set the handle and do walk-around to inspect the tires.

Current mileage on my truck is 34K and the tread remaining on the tires should last another 25K-30K.

What I'm hinting at is...saving some cash for the next 12 months for new Wheels/Tires. (Target $3K/$250 per month)

Set of 4 tires as I search right now on Tire Rack (just using one source for estimate/give or take discounts)

OEM Size: 265/65R17s but I'm looking at either 275/70R17s or 285/70R17s

BFG KO2s 117S E - $258.99 and set of 4 $1035.96
Falken Wildpeak 116T XL - $248 and a set of 4 $992.00

So, it's safe to say roughly $1K +/- $100 for a set of tires.

That leaves $2K for a set of 4 Aftermarket Wheels.

My goal is not to get the flashiest wheels that bring a lot of attention to my truck.

I want a little bit of pokey since I have Bushwacker Fendys--an inch is legal here in Delaware.

That's it!

For now, I am enjoying the better ride/handling of the TRD Lift Kit Shocks and the higher stance.

I'm loving my TRD Lift.

 

Sounds like a good plan! Saving up is the way to do it too! You’ll probably want full machined wheels then, make them flashy

I'm really digging' the SEMA wheels...want a -10 Offset Max...I think even a Zero Offset would give pokey...but how much?

Also don't want solid black...I prefer a contrast color but nothing with too much noticeable pop.

You're helping me narrow down what I'm looking for and it's still early in the morning!

 

Always happy to help! The SCS wheels look great and if you don’t mind minor defects you can get a good deal on their “blem” wheels. I bought a set and couldn’t notice anything wrong with them. And after a couple drives, it honestly doesn’t matter. The 17” wheels are -10, I think.

Had a great time at the Ballpark yesterday...Dodgers lost the rubber match, 8-7.

I ate all the bad food and drank some beers...my stomach is doing OK this morning.

Glad I don't eat like that all the time!

Raining slightly on the way into work today...did I mention, "truck handles great!"
