Connor noticed where I was and told me he was having dinner near my location on the 13 in Dover.

We crossed paths but did not see each other.

He was headed north while I was headed south...

What’s on meal prep for the week?

Easy meal prep: Spaghetti with Shrimp tomato sauce…and Texas garlic toast.

We grandpup sitted this weekend (beginning Thur night) and will take Azshara home today…her parents are coming back from Connecticut after celebrating their 10yr wedding anniversary.

Right now I’m fully cleaning 2 litter boxes.

After thoroughly cleaning my hands, I’ll soak frozen shrimp in water and cut up veggies to put in the sauce.

Then in a bit…probably 4pm, we will drive our grandpup home.

After I think about it, I'm glad I have a job to go to...just don't want to be miserable as I get there! lol

I've been doing US Air Force Supply Logistics for so long, this job is second nature.

Hey Eric,

So what did you decide to do about yesterday's maintenance?

As for my Torque Checks on my new suspension:

LCA Shock Mounting Bolt: 101 Ft/Lbs
LCA Mounting Bracket: 103 Ft/Lbs
Control Arm Frame Bolts: 96 Ft/Lbs

Gave up for another day lol.

Until then, I’m going to spray pb blaster on it and hit it with a brass punch and hammer. Maybe knock some rust loose and get the penetrant in there to do its job. I really don’t want to pull them out of there to try.

I may also get the mobile spring compressor and put them in while they are still on the truck to release the pressure. Not sure if that’ll help or not, can’t hurt though, right?

The compressor “fingers” wouldn’t fit in between the coils of the original Ironman springs but maybe they will on the OME springs.


you may need to check UCA to spindle, at least that the cotter pin is in, the sway bar was probably disconnected at the spindle as well. Then the back, upper and lower shock, ubolt nuts.

I felt like I was riding around with the Big Boys!

The next day after work, I jet sprayed blossoms off my truck while it was raining...that's why the paint looks shiny.

 

Second evening of pulling weeds in the front yard...tomorrow is Trash/Recycle/Yard Waste pick up.

So far since beginning of March, I've put down 70+ bags of Top Soil and then...

I put Weed&Feed a week after and now inpatient with Dandelions shriveling away...so I'm pulling them!

We are GrandPup sitting again tomorrow...so I'm cleaning the wood floors tonight--it's been a minute and the floors look dull.

Yeah...kinda! lol

Considering I've been up since 5:30am (I know, you get up at 3am) and put in a full 8hrs.

I've been going to the gym after work so there's my cardio!

I'm glad it doesn't get dark until almost 8pm.

Instead of kicking it on the couch streaming TV, I put myself to work. lol

EDIT: Not saying I don't have those evenings where I don't wanna do much.

I blinked and it's already Wednesday.

Wife and I are going to see my family in SoCal later this month/early May and so far I've been able to take care of these personal taskers since March:

Top Soil Project - 80+ Bags spread on Front Yard
TRD Suspension Upgrade - USAF Anniversary/Retirement Gift to Me (I had to reschedule at another dealership but it got done!)
Truck Oil Change - Completed at Auto Hobby Shop and on my lunch break during duty hours
Tire Rotation - Completed by Dealership; CarFax updated

What else I need to do:
Double-Check Torque Specs of New Suspension on my truck
Riding Mower Oil Change
Mow yard for the first time this year
Continue going to the Gym after work (M-F)

It's amazing what I can put my mind too...trying not to sound conceded here...since family gives me hard time that I get shit done.

It's Thursday already!

Got a dentist appointment this morning to implant porcelain crown on bottom right side...that shit is expensive!

Even with 2 dental insurances, I'm paying $600+

The Dentist Billing person said, "Delta Dental said I was double-dipping" because I have one with current employer and the other as military retiree.

Delta eventually paid both portions...since I have 2 separate accounts.

I've got to be careful/aware of the foods I chew...so, no corn nuts!
