    Hey Ed! New Taco owner here in North Wilmington, good to meet ya. Delta Dental is the worst to deal with! Pretty sure I've still got checks floating in limbo out there somewhere... Hope everything went well with the crown! My FIL has a oral surgery practice on Silverside if you ever need a second opinion. Try not to think of the mods you could've bought with that $600!

    Hey Dalton,

    Welcome to TW and sub-section North-East/Delaware!

    Dentist visit went well...I had to get a shot of Lidocaine...dental assistant tried to remove/tug the temp crown but as soon as I said, "Ow!" assistant was redirected to another patient.

    After 10 minutes, dentist came in and removed temp and x-ray was done to make sure my porcelain crown was fitted properly...then it was permanently glued. (5yr warranty!) lol

    Thanks for the offer about your FIL for second opinion.

    Yeah, I'm trying not thinking about the $600 I could of saved for my next mod/upgrade. lol

    So, I mowed our front/back yard for the first time this Spring!

    Yesterday, I spent about 2hrs pulling weeds...man! My back was killing me!!!

    So, I'm attacking sections...one-at-a-time.

    Makes for, looking forward to a presentable yard...and my labor of love to get there.

    Just another day here with these old farts at work...one guy is 65 and the other is 60.

    I'm the young buck at 58...turning 59 in June.

    Been with the company 16 months now...and it's like I never left.

    I got stationed here to Dover AFB in 2006 (from Ramstein Germany) when I was active duty and hit my 20 year of service mark.

    Because I was hot for a Short Tour, I went on a 365 TDY to Iraq...follow on was to Aviano, Italy.

    Had my DEROS curtailed because of HYT so I was force retired in 2011...had about 8-9 jobs in between my current position...

    Which is back in the LRS Warehouse where I started in 2006.

    Some nice places you’ve been too… and a crappy one lol. I’ve been overseas as well, Afghanistan and Iraq. It’s been so long sometimes I forget where in those places I spent time in.


    Not as old as you, in my early 40s.

    I took the day off today, my nephew stayed with us last night and will be here tonight as well. I’ve got a fun activity for them tomorrow. Going to bring them to a local airport and get about an hour in the full motion flight simulator. Going. They’ll enjoy it.

    Today, today I’m staring at the truck parts I have and deciding if I have the motivation (and free time) to do it.

    Also looking at the front of the house, I need to recaulk around the window trim.

    I'm definitely not bragging about being "older".

    The gentlemen I work with (one of them) is constantly bringing up the age thing...in a way to say...never mind.

    Yes, we learn many things in life...and the longer you've been on this earth...I get it.

    We are proud of our accomplishments...and it shouldn't be confused with bragging or being conceited. (I tell young Airman brief stories; because of their attention span)
