    Yeah, that's what weekends are for...catching ourselves resting instead of stressing about going to work!

    Speaking of business trips...safe travels picking up your wife...

    I have a Supply Chain Working Group Conference to attend next week...my travel day is Monday and return on Friday.

    So, of course, this work week will be me, clearing up as much as I can that is my primary duties.

    But for today...I've got a whole chicken to prep before putting in the oven.

    How goes your Taco Tuesday?

    I watched some of the Dodger game but was falling asleep around 10pm.

    Dodgers lost in the bottom of the 9th to the Rockies ending their 10-game losing streak.

    SD lost to SF so Dodgers still hold a 2-game lead in NL West.

    I've got to break out some semi-casual trousers/comfy shoes for this conference next week.

    I'm not renting a vehicle-- instead, carpooling from the airport to the hotel...budgets are tight right now!

    Apparently, everything needed is at the hotel: restaurant/bar/gym

    Last time it was like this was June 27th...the day before my bday.

    I took PTO and went to the beach (Indian River Inlet) and just walked along the shore with my hoodie in-place.

    It was windy with misty rain/splashes from the waves!

    Lunch was Happy Hour at "Claws" in Rehoboth...which I definitely enjoyed!

    On another note...I'm the focal for the base regarding any support questions...

    I'll probably have to do a "Trip Report" to summarize lessons learned from the Conference.

    Welp, the rain subsided today so I did the riding mower thing...even though the grass was slightly wet.

    I had a couple of stops to remove mushy grass from the chute!

    Darn these C17s that fly low over our neighborhood in the evening...thought it was about to downpour! lol

    Turning on the Dodgers/Rockies game...it's already 7-0 Dodgers in the bottom of the 4th inning.

    Just another day in paradise...lol

    For some reason, today seems to be the day where our office is visited by many who either need something or want something. :annoyed: :annoyed: :annoyed:

    Honestly, I think some of us in this world are too nice! lol

    Basically, when it rains it pours...so much traffic coming though while our key processes are put on hold.

    Don't get me started on virtual must-clock-in meetings...there's an hour I can't get back! lol

    Want to see how the coastline is affected by "Erin" after what is going on today.
